Iowa gambling halls
There are a number casinos located in the state, the biggest number being on immobilized barges. One more substantial Amerindian gambling den is the Winna Vegas, with 45,000 sq.ft., 668 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. In addition, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs is open 24 hours, with 38,500 sq.ft., 1,589 slot machines, 36 table games, and 4 restaurants. There are several other dominant Iowa casinos, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.
A smaller Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a riverboat gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slots, and 19 table games. Iowa casinos provide an excellent deal of tax revenue to the state government of Iowa, which has enabled the budgeting of a lot of state wide projects.
